Sritej, eight years old, is at Kims Hospital in Secunderabad Pushpa 2The hospital was fired on Tuesday evening (April 29, 2025) and moved to a neurorehabilitation center, the hospital said in a statement.

Sritej was taken to the hospital’s emergency room on the evening of December 4, 2024, in a semi-conscious state, with low oxygen saturation and irregular breathing. The doctor was forced to intubate and put him in the support state of the ventilator. He stayed on a ventilator for nearly two weeks and was later placed on a nasogastric feeding program.

According to Kim Jong Il Hospital, the child is now receiving oral feed and no longer needs oxygen or respiratory support. “Sritej is being taken to a neurorehabilitation center for ongoing neurological disorder services,” the hospital said.

He has been transferred to the Asian Transcare Rehabilitation Center in Secunderabad, Kims. Hospital authorities said this will enable seamless coordination among doctors involved in his ongoing treatment.

In the weeks after his hospitalization, Sritej received visits from prominent figures including Brs Mla T. Harish Rao, Union Minister Bandi Sanjay and actor Allu Arjun, who visited the child nearly a month after the incident. Allu Arjun even sought permission from the special police to visit Sritej of the hospital.
