SC heard about PIL on May 1, seeking judicial investigation into the Pahalgam terrorist attack

The Supreme Court plans to hear a Public Interest Litigation (PIL) on Wednesday, calling for a Judicial Commission to investigate the terrorist attacks in Chamu & Kashmir, killing 26 people.
According to the pleas filed by Kashmir residents Mohammad Junaid, as well as Fatesh Kumar Sahu and Vicky Kumar, the Supreme Court also urged to issue instructions to the central government and the United Territory Authority to ensure protection of tourists visiting Kashmir.
The matter has been listed as a hearing and consists of judges Surya Kant and N. Kotiswar Singh.
