Indian Pakistani actors ban Pakistani actors after Pahalgam terrorist attack

While promoting his upcoming film Raid 2, DeShmukh was open to his ideas for Pakistani actors, not allowed to work in Indian cinemas after the Grusome Pahalgam terrorist attack.
Actor-Filmmaker Riteish Deshmukh responded to India’s ban on Pakistani actors following the horrible Pahalgam attack. Riteish prepares for his new movie Ajay Devgn-Starrer Raid 2, where he has an exclusive interaction with DNA India along with film director Raj Kumar Gupta.
During the conversation, Riteish shared his views on whether actors from Pakistani neighbors should work in India. Asked if he was also related to most people’s emotions, he immediately said, “Yeh ke Bahut Hi sensitive things. The actor of Masti admits that it’s time to take strict action,” Mujhe lagta hai ki yeh bahut zaroori hai ki we took a strong stance.

The EK villain actor further asserted that such major decisions did take their own courses and we cannot expect them to be implemented overnight. “jab aisa kuch hota hai toh aap aap a hi khade ho ke decide nahi le sakte ho. There are a lot to think about and discuss. I am sure that saare permutation dekh kar, they will make the decision.”
Finally, Riteish added that he respects the decision the government will make and that if it means banning Pakistani actors, he has no objection to India. He asserted: “I think as a country, no matter what government decision we respect, as law-abiding citizens, we will stick with it, no matter what field we come from. Whether it is the film business, the trade business, or anything else, the decision should come from a higher authority. They know, they know more than we do.”
For unproven innocence, in RAID 2, the ceremony plays Antogonist, political leader Dadabhai. The film is a direct sequel to the Raid, and it will be released in theaters on May 1, 2025.
