Rain frees Visakhapatnam, but heat waves continue until Andra

Visakhapatnam: Residents of Visakhapatnam and surrounding areas suppressed the area on Wednesday, but Andhra Pradesh continues to be stuffy under the intense summer heat. Tuni recorded the highest rainfall at 2.1 cm, while Visakhapatnam had a precipitation of 0.8 cm. A brief shower provides temporary breathing for those who have experienced weeks of hot and humid conditions.

Despite isolated rainfall, most parts of Andhra Pradesh are still in severe heat. Nandyal recorded the highest temperature of the day at a hot 41.2 degrees Celsius, then tightly connected at 40.8 degrees Celsius tirupati and 40.3 degrees Celsius tirupati. Kurnool also experienced strong heat, with a temperature of 39.9 degrees Celsius.

However, coastal areas have eased some relief from extreme conditions. Kakinada recorded 36.2 degrees Celsius, while Visakhapatnam was relatively cool at 30.0 degrees Celsius.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) attributes the current weather pattern to the North-South Trough, extending from the cyclone cycle of south-west Rajasthan to Northern Kerala. The system travels through the interiors of southeastern Rajasthan, Western Madhya Pradesh, Vidalba, Malatwada and Karnataka and extends to an average sea level of 1.5 km.

In addition, high-altitude cyclone cycles were formed on the North Coast Andhra Pradesh and Yanam, altitude of 0.9 kilometers above the average sea level, affecting the local weather conditions. IMD has released detailed forecasts for the coming week, predicting that the North Coast Andhra Pradesh will reach 50-60 kmph in the next five days with thunderstorms, lightning and storms.
