GHMC tells not to interfere with Banjara Hills Property

Hyderabad: CV judge Bhaskar Reddy of the Telangana High Court on Wednesday refused to interfere with the ownership of home property on Route 12 of Banjara Hills MLA Colony. The judge is handling the writ filed by Buddi Prakash Toshniwal and others. The petitioners believed that they were the owners of the 600 square yard property, but the government claimed a certain level of land without any basis. Senior Legal Counsel L. Ravichander claimed that authorities were illegally interfering in House ownership and resorting to expert actions to eliminate petitioners without giving any notice or conducting any investigation. The petitioner believes that even if the government claims ownership of the land, it is impossible to immediately expel the petitioner.
The petitioner pointed out several Supreme Court decisions requiring authorities to issue notices and comply with the procedures set out in the law.
Justice Bhaskar Reddy, after carefully reading the records, instructed the authorities not to interfere with the property’s physical property and posted the matter after the summer vacation.
In later developments, the senior lawyer reappeared in the court, complaining about how the tax authorities broke into the land despite the court’s orders. The judge then allowed the petitioner to apply for independent relocation.
