What qualities do you most appreciate about your father Jackie Shroff?
I think my true admiration for my father Jackie Shroff is his restrained attitude and nature. He is a man who can find a glimmer of hope and focus on the positive even in difficult situations. I really like him because I personally am a little overthinking and tend to jump to the negative quickly. He has the ability to balance me and let me see the benefits of things, something I really appreciate and learn from him. Every day I spend with him, I learn something new, and his view of life is really valuable to me.
How does the spirituality of your family affect your own beliefs?
I’m getting more spiritual now, very spiritual around my family. It’s fun, it rubs on you. I think spirituality is an important aspect of controlling your mind and emotions, and once you can do that, you will be more powerful. Being around them will definitely have an impact on me.
What’s next for the MMA matrix?
I focus on developing the MMA Matrix brand, which is my passion. People are related to my authenticity, which helps the business grow. We have Matrix Battle Night in July or August, which will be recognized globally. I’m also exploring the reality TV space and after my experience with Cutthroat, I know that’s where I belong. I prefer to be on screen rather than perform, so hopefully you can see me in that field as soon as possible.
So is there a big boss?
Not a Big Boss. I think it’s very difficult as a concept, it’s OK. But I just don’t think the world is for me, but the real space.
