“Don't want people to follow Muslims and Kashmiris,” said Himanshi Narwal, wife of Navy Officer Vinay Narwal.

“We want peace and justice. Those who do wrong to him should be punished,” said Ms. Shimanhi, who married Lieutenant Naval the week before the April 22 terrorist attack. The couple spent their honeymoon in Pahalgam when terrorists shot Navy officers in Point Blank.
“We don't want people to follow Muslims and Kashmiris,” Himanshi Narwal said on Thursday, mourning her husband, Navy officer Vinay Narwal, who was shot dead 10 days ago in Pahalgam. He is 27 years old today. Narwal's mother and wife Himanshi cried as he paid tribute to the naval officers in a blood donation camp organized by the town where he grew up.
Ms Himanshi wiped the tears from her face and paid tribute to her late husband and blew a kiss to his picture. The naval officer's mother also kissed the photo of her son and paid his respect with a folded hand.
Narwal's sister Shristi expressed her gratitude to those who attended the blood donation camp.
Ms. Shristy said: “I want to thank everyone who has donated blood from far away. We have also received the news. People responded enthusiastically (to the blood donation camp). The government has also done a lot of things.”
The camp is organized by the National Integrated Artists and Activists (NIFAA), a non-governmental organization based in Karnal. Speaking at the gathering, various spokesmen said the late officer was committed to his country during his service and would continue to live in everyone's heart forever.
Chairman Nifaa Pritpal Singh Pannu said: “A young man who was supposed to serve the country for many years was taken away by terrorism. A soldier on the battlefield saved people's lives by bleeding. Today, we are giving his blood to save people's lives for his honor.”
One participant who donated blood at the camp said: “The country will always be grateful to Naval for his sacrifice. We can only pay our tribute by donating blood, but no one can fill the gap caused by his death.” BJP MLA from Karnal Jagmohan Anand also attended.
Narwal was one of 26 people shot and killed in terrorists in Baisaran Meadows in Pahalgam on April 22, one of the worst terrorist attacks on Kashmir civilians in the past years.
