TS EAPCET begins to stabilize

Hyderabad: Day 1 of the engineering flow of TS EAPCET went smoothly in Telangana on Friday with no major technical or logistical issues reported. The exam was conducted under strict supervision twice (from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.) and was subject to the agreement set by the Telangana State Council on Higher Education and the Jawaharlal Nehru Technical University in Hyderabad (Jntuh).

Students describe this article as a moderate challenge, the math and physics parts compared with JEE Main in terms of complexity. Many candidates point out that both subjects require deeper concept clarity and strong time management.

Mathematics was rated as the hardest part, mainly due to its length and computational complexity. Key topics include algebra, calculus, vector and 3D geometry, coordinate geometry, and trigonometry. “The math part is very long. Some questions are simple, but many people need to think carefully and time-consuming.”

Physics is considered moderate to difficult, with many numerical problems arising from it. Topics such as mechanics, currents, thermodynamics, waves and optics, and modern physics are prominent. Another candidate, Varun Petha, said: “There are more numerical problems in physics than I expected. It's more than just formulas; understanding these concepts is crucial.”

Instead, chemistry is considered the simplest part. Most of the questions are based on NCERT content, focusing on organic and physical chemistry. Atomic structures, hydrocarbons, chemical equilibrium, and S-block and P-block elements are one of the most covered topics. Overall, the paper is considered to be a moderate degree of hardship, and analytical thinking and rhythm proves crucial. Based on peer discussions and previous trends, students who aim to earn the 10,000 rankings may need to score about 60 points out of 160 points.

The exam is conducted in a computer-based format. Candidates are asked to bring their lobby tickets and valid photo ID. Electronic products or smart devices are not allowed. Although formal dress codes are not implemented, students are advised to wear simple clothes without metal elements to ensure worry-free worries.

No unpleasant incidents were reported in any center. Attendance remains high, consistent with more than 240,000 students enrolled in engineering last year. The exam will last until May 4, with two shifts scheduled every day.
