Whistling Woods International and Subhash Ghai announce the 100th anniversary of the legend Mohd Rafi Music Scholarship

India celebrates the 100th anniversary of legendary play singer Mohammed Rafi, Whistling Woods International (WWI), whose chairman Subhash Ghai announced a landmark tribute to the Mohd Rafi Music Scotère.
This prestigious scholarship will be awarded annually to meritorious students from the Whistling Woods Academy of Music to recognize the enduring legacy of one of India’s greatest music icons.
The news will be held at the inauguration ceremony of the 2025 Cadence Festival on May 5, 2025, with the presence of the legendary singer's son Shahid Mohammed Rafi.
Speaking about this initiative, Subhash Ghai said: “Rafi Sahab’s music continues to inspire generations. Through this scholarship, we hope to develop young talents who embody the same passion and passion and dedication to music.”
This heartfelt gesture not only marks a tribute to eternal genius, but also a step towards the next generation of Indian music legends. Subhash Ghai’s next “Amaira”, on the other hand, will be released on May 16 with whistling Woods International alumni Sai Godbole along with Rajeshwari Sachdev and Ajinky Deo.
