Official sources said simulation exercises were conducted at all NEET-UG centers (May 3, 2025) to ensure smooth behavior at the national medical entrance.
The crucial exam is scheduled to be held on May 4 in 5,453 centers in more than 500 cities across the country. This year, more than 2.27 million candidates have registered for the exam.
Third floor monitoring on the day of the exam
“There will be three levels of monitoring on the day of the exam – at the regional, state and central levels,” a Ministry of Education (MOE) source said.
Most of the centers this year are located in government and government-assisted schools, colleges, universities and institutions.
“To ensure smooth behavior of the exam, simulation training is being conducted at all centers. These exercises will help test ready based on the functionality of the mobile signal jammer; the available human resources are suitable for Frisking; and biometric authentication procedures.”
The ministry said candidates found to be addicted to unfair means (UFM) bookings in an unfair way, before, during or after the exam, and were punished accordingly.
“The fine includes up to three years of exploitation in the NTA exam (based on severity) and public inspections (prevention of unfair means) in 2024.”
The strict measures are alleged irregular year markings in NEET, which puts the integrity of the exam under the scanner.
