On Saturday, May 3, within 450 km of the IE, Pakistan claimed tensions with India. After tensions with India soared, Pakistan claimed to have successfully tested a surface-to-surface ballistic missile. The missile was launched under Operation Indus.
According to the report NDTV, India quoted sources as a “serious provocation” of the terrorist attack to capture 26 lives. The Pakistani government said: “The launch is designed to ensure the operational preparation of the troops and verify key technical parameters, including the missile's advanced navigation system and enhanced operability capabilities.”
The statement further added that Parker Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that he expressed “full confidence” in the preparation and technical level of security forces to safeguard the interests of the country.
The bilateral bond between India and Pakistan witnessed a continued deterioration following the Pahalgam tragedy on April 22. Pakistan, together with the Line of Control (LOC), violated several ceasefires, the international border between the two countries. However, India retaliated strongly against such provocation.
Previously, India had taken bold countermeasures to send a strong message to Pakistan-backed cross-border terrorism, such as the suspension of Indian Water Treaty, the suspension of visa services for Parker nationals, the closure of Atari-Waga border and the deportation of PAK advisers.
Meanwhile, India bans imports from Pakistan.
