Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin said on Saturday that the BJP had used a pressure tactic to subdue AIADMK and its Secretary-General Edappadi K. Palaniswami to threaten by forming a coalition.

“The BJP is trying to gain a foothold in Tamil Nadu by all means possible, and it tames the AIADMK by using various threats. Mr. Palaniswami has no choice. He has no other choice. He will worry that he will not accept the BJP coalition in his own party, he will bear the factions of the party in his own party. Headquarters.

He said that as a movement, the DMK has always faced such tests when the BJP abuses central agencies against DMK ministers and party leaders.

“Those who cannot win our victory politically, engage in such behavior to undermine our image. The people know the actual reasons for their threats and intimidation. We will face and fight the BJP threat politically.

“Our strength lies in our party structure. No other party has such an administrative framework. We are constantly upgrading that structure over time and we have to continue to do so.”

He also pointed out that the party's senior headquarters will decide the due candidates for the 2026 General Assembly election.

He said: “Only valid victorious candidates will be sent. Local secretaries have a duty to ensure that well-deserved candidates enter the parliament. The minister must spend more time in his area, rather than staying in Chennai. In addition, MLAS must also go to all Panchayat and Ward.”
