KLIS former driver Engg faces ACB barbecue

Hyderabad: Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) officials were custody by irrigation officer Bhookya Hariram for allegedly illegal assets cases, who may question his connection with irregular behaviors occurring in different companies. According to company registration records, Bhookya, director of Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project Corporation Limited, is registered with the Department of Corporate Affairs (MCA).
Hariram has links to three companies: as a director of Manjeera Lift Irinigation Corporation Limited; as managing director of Kaleshwaram Irrigation Project Corporation Limited and as a nominated director of Telangana Reenwable Energy Development Corporation Limited. The total paid capital of the companies in Bhookya's active positions is Rs 1511.17 crore.
ACB officials will all challenge violations in these projects and will open three bank lockers maintained by Hariram.
The court approved a five-day police custody of the defendant officials to inquire about the alleged illegal assets case. ACB officials will also verify the occupied property documents to estimate the total value of the property. ACB officials also suspect the benami deal by the defendant officials.
A few days ago, ACB registered the case and searched 13 locations in Hyderabad and Medakh, where defendant officials accumulated illegal property.
