TPCC begins negotiations to fill vacant political parties, government positions

Adilabad: The Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) has guaranteed social justice in its preparations to appoint presidents in the Nirmal, Adilabad, Adilabad, Manchester and Komaram Bheem Bheem Bheem Asifabad regions. Party observers have begun consultations with local leaders to ensure balanced representation.

Despite the directives, several congressional leaders expressed disappointment at the eligibility to be with these nominated positions and the deadline for chairmen of the Regional Congressional Commission (DCC). Sources said the senior TPCC commander insisted on considering only those who joined before 2017, while recent contestants (many former BRS MLAS and BJP MP) remained silent about their prospects.

Former lawmakers Atram Sakku, Koneru Konappa, Vittal Reddy, Indrakaran Reddy and Rekha Naik as well as former MP Soyam Bapurao and one of the nominees. However, TPCC observers will weigh local political dynamics and caste equations before finalizing the shortlist.

Telangana Meenakshi Natarajan's AICC head has repeatedly stressed that senior Congress leaders will receive priorities for all nominations and partisan positions. Adilabad had not had DCC chair for 18 months before the new appointment. This prompted many aspiring people to meet with TPCC President Maheshkumar Goud and responsible minister D. Anasuya Seethakka.

Taher Bin Hamdan, president of Adilabad Observer of Urdu College and TPCC in Telangana State, said the district-level meeting was planned on May 7, followed by Block and Mandal consultations. “We will present five names for each DCC, Block and Mandal to ensure community representation based on social justice and fairness for party services,” he said.
Observers will submit proposals to the TPCC, and a formal election or nomination will be conducted.
