Mumbai Weather Update: Sunday IMD issued a yellow alarm on Tuesday and Wednesday indicating moderate rainfall.

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a yellow alarm on Tuesday and Wednesday indicating moderate rainfall. The alarm is issued to the cities and neighboring areas of Thana, Regard and Palgar. The city will be relieved from strong heat due to the rain and thunderstorms. According to IMD's weekly forecast, the temperature will drop by 1 to 2 degrees Celsius this week.

According to forecasts, light rain is expected this afternoon and evening. According to the forecast, the temperature is maximum 33 degrees Celsius and the minimum 26 degrees Celsius.

Thunderstorms are expected Tuesday and Wednesday, with moderate rainfall and strong gusts of winds between 30 and 40 km. On Thursday and Friday, there will be cloud covers, rain and drizzles.

“These pre-monsoon showers will occur due to low levels of wind disturbances as well as western disturbances. These factors will lead to high moisture, cold air and wind exchange rates, which will lead to thunderstorms.”
