The Indian Railways will introduce new Vande Bharat sleeper trains on multiple routes across the country. One of the most anticipated routes is between New Delhi and Pune. This new service is designed to provide longer-distance passengers with faster and more comfortable travel options.
Vande Bharat sleeper train will cover 1,589 km between New Delhi and Pune. The total travel time is about 20 hours. The train will have a key along the way in Agra Cantt. According to a report by ET Now, once it starts running, it will become the fastest train on the route, with a maximum speed of 160 kilometers per hour.
According to News18, the train will be composed of 16 coaches, offering a variety of courses for passengers with different budgets and preferences. These include:
11 AC Level 3 coaches, estimated at Rs 2,500
4 AC 2-tier coaches price around Rs 4,000
Level 1 AC coach, ticket price is about Rs 5,000
These coaches are designed to provide better comfort and facilities compared to regular trains.
Vande Bharat's sleeper departs from New Delhi and will leave at 4:30 pm and arrive in Pune the next day at 1:00 AM. In the opposite direction, the train will leave Pune at 3:00 pm and arrive in New Delhi at 11:30 AM the next day.
