Apology is bad now: Priyanka Kakkar of AAP slams Rahul Gandhi's 1984 Riots remarks, calling it “planned genocide”

Kakar said in his acceptance to Ani: “At that time, Sikh houses were marked, children were killed, men were burned, women were raped. Is this a planned mistake? It is a planned genocide, those responsible for the matter, state institutions and the top leaders of Congress, until what action do they take against them? What action should they take on it?
Kakkar's remarks come after a re-layed video in which a young Sikh in the United States questioned Congress's links with the alleged leaders in the 1984 anti-Sikh riots.
Rahul Gandhi reportedly spoke about a question about the riots and Congress’s relationship with the Sikh community, who admitted that the party made many mistakes before participating in politics, during an interactive meeting between Watson Institute of International and Public Affairs and Professor Ashtosh Valshni on April 21. He added that he was happy to take responsibility for everything the party did wrong.
On May 3, BJP IT Cell Director Amit Malviya shared a clip of a so-called videotape introducing Gandhi’s recent visit to the United States, saying that Rahul Gandhi is now ridiculed not only in India, but worldwide, because a Sikh youth was viewed by the anti-Sikhs in 1984. On his last visit to the United States, he engaged in baseless fear. Malviya released the BJP Leader RP Singh on X.Erlier today, criticizing Rahul Gandhi for spreading punishments in society during his visit abroad.
He further challenged Gandhi, noting that he would face legal action if he dared to make the same remarks in India.
“Rahul Gandhi walked out and spread hatred in the society. The last time he went out, he pointed to a Sikh youth and said he was considered a second-class citizen. But, this is nothing like that. Rahul Gandhi, if you have a stomach, if you have a stomach, I would make this statement in India – I will file a lawsuit against you,” he said.
