ACB BBQ KLIS EX-ENC Day 4

Hyderabad: ACB continues to question the former chief engineer of the Kaleshwaram Lift irrigation program Bhookya Hariram, for the fourth consecutive day related to an ongoing investigation into what he claims is illegal assets. Officials reportedly verified property documents in the presence of defendant officials on Monday.
ACB suspected the Benami transaction, checked Hariram's bank account statements and reportedly asked him about sources of income beyond his official salary. When he later praised it when he claimed to invest in agricultural and residential land at a low price, officials reportedly developed doubts about the cash transaction and reported insufficient purchase value.
ACB officials may calculate the value of seized property with the help of stamps and registered officials. They may provide notice to some suspects who have conducted some financial transactions with the defendant officials for inquiries. The court approved the five-day police guardian to the ACB until the ACB questioned on May 6. The ACB recently conducted a raid at 13 locations related to the defendant officials' premises and found illegal assets accumulating.
