Speeding up road project: CM Revanth

Hyderabad: Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy directed officials to implement road infrastructure projects in a way that they meet national needs for the next 50 years. The Chief Minister said that consistency of RRR (South), radial roads, junctions and connection points should be carefully planned.

During a review meeting on the state’s road project later Tuesday, Revanth Reddy focused on the Hyderabad Regional Circuit (RRR), radial roads that will connect to the OOR and related infrastructure developments.

He directed officials to conduct ahead of LIDAR (light detection and range using laser beams) in advance investigations, especially in areas involving forest land, water resources, and villages in Mandal's headquarters band villages to minimize interference and avoid future complications.

Revanth Reddy highlights the strategic role of radial roads in promoting the development of satellite towns and industrial parks. He called for speeding up the construction of radial roads connecting ORR to RRR and proposed the construction of small traffic at the location of national and state highway exit Hyderabad to ensure signal-free and seamless traffic flow.

On Hyderabad-Sri Salam National Highway, the Chief Minister suggested revising the proposed elevated corridor consistency. He also directed officials to finalize the alternative route from Orr to artificial to replace Rajiv Rahadari and explore the potential for its industrial growth.

The Chief Minister stressed the need for continuous coordination with the National Highways Department to ensure the smooth implementation of these infrastructure plans.
