The Telangana government has opened online registration for the Miss World event 2025, which is scheduled to be held in Hyderabad on May 10 with a grand opening. Citizens can register on the Telangana Travel website for consideration through a select selection process.
Officials announced the initiative at a press conference held at a high-end hotel in Hyderabad on Tuesday, highlighting the importance of the event in promoting the state’s visibility on global tourism maps.
Speaking about preparations, Minister of Tourism and Culture Jupally Krishna Rao said: “It is an honor to Telangana to host this global event. All arrangements are to ensure a world-class experience, from state-of-the-art infrastructure and security programs to cultural programs to cultural programs and hospitality. Miss World is not only for the celebration of beauty and the world. The eternal appeal of our nation.”

Patel Ramesh Reddy, Chairman of Telangana Tourism Development Company, responded to this view, noting: “Delegates from all over the world and Miss World Organization will be part of this event. It will provide a huge boost to Telangana tourism industry and open up many new opportunities.”
Jayesh Ranjan, Special Chief Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, stressed efforts to bring the event to Hyderabad. “This activity is a lot of effort. We want the world and contestants to experience Telangana's rich heritage, culture, food and warm hospitality. People often think of places like Taj Mahal when they think of Indian tourism. When they think of Indian tourism. With this activity, Telangana will find its place in the global tourism map,” he said. ”
He added: “We want to include this. On the Telangana travel website, people can now ask for free admission passes. This is not a standalone event; it will be the basis for bringing more global engagement and cultural events to the state.”

Selected individuals will receive a confirmation email after completing the participation event online. The email will serve as official proof of the collection of passes, which will be released at the box office of Gachibowli Stadium on May 8.
