The coalition government has strengthened propaganda on West Asia amid tensions with Pakistan due to tensions with Pakistan, Narendra Modi and Katari Emir Emir Emir Tamim bin Hamad Hamad Tani (Arc)

The move even came as the New York-based organization of the United Nations mission to Islamic cooperation issued a statement expressing concern about the “deterioration of security environment” in South Asia and criticized India’s “hostile rhetoric” while condemning Pahargam’s terrorist attacks.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs said it also supported the OIC statement when it also expressed support for Kashmir's “self-determination”, which also called it “self-determination”, saying the statement was issued in accordance with Pakistan's request, calling it “absurd”.

The ministry rejects any intervention from 57 national groups in India's “internal affairs”

The ministry said in a statement that the Emir of Qatar expressed condolences to the victims of the attack and “expressed full support in India's fight against terrorism and all operations to bring perpetrators to justice”.

The same is true of the statement of support for India when Prime Minister of Kathari and Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani met with Pakistan’s interior minister Mohsin Naqvi. A statement issued by the Katari PMO said they had discussed “bilateral partnerships and the ways in which they support and develop them, as well as several issues of common concern”.

Visit to Iran FM

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced that the Iranian Foreign Minister will arrive in Delhi on Wednesday (May 6, 2025) and hold talks with Mr. Jaishankar on Thursday (May 8, 2025) and co-chair the Joint Committee on Economic Affairs. He will also visit President Droupadi Murmu during his visit, which demonstrates the importance of South Block's visit to Mr Araghchi.

However, it is unlikely that the government will accept Mr. Aragic's proposal to mediate between Iran's two “brother neighbors” India and Pakistan. During a visit to Islamabad on Monday, Iran's Foreign Minister met with Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, President Asif Ali Zardari and Pakistan Army Chief Asim Munir, who told reporters that his mission in the region is to “clearly understand the current situation.”

Mr. Modi spoke with leaders from Saudi Arabia, Iran and the UAE, and his interactions with Iran and Qatar came after the Pahargham attacks, in which 26 men – 25 tourists and a local were killed.

However, as India began preparations and exercises to conduct a military strike against Pakistan, in response to the attacks, many countries, including Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE, as well as the United Kingdom, the United States and the European Union, have also called for a degradation and resolution of the issue through dialogue and diplomacy, which have not responded to the new Delhi. New Delhi did not respond to a statement from Malaysian Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim on Tuesday calling for an “independent and transparent investigation” into the attacks.
