Prime Minister Narendra ModiOfficial sources said on Wednesday (May 7, 2025) that the trip to Europe has been cancelled given the escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
Mr. Modi was originally scheduled to travel to Croatia, Norway and the Netherlands from 13 to 17 May.
The Prime Minister plans to visit Norway to attend the Nordic summit.
Sources said the visit has been cancelled.
They said their respective countries had been informed of the decision.
