Karnataka Muzrai and Transport Minister Ramalinga Reddy directed the donation department commissioner to organize special prayers in all temples of the Muzra tribe to commemorate the Indian army.
The directive follows the Indian operation “Operation Sindoor” against terrorist camps in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir earlier on May 7.
The operation was reportedly in response to a terrorist attack in Pahargam on April 22, with 28 people killed.
Mr. Reddy said in his order of 7 May: “The best wishes are given to our proud Indian army. Hereby directs special prayers in all Muzre temples, praying to God, and blessing the Indian army with greater strength.”
