Chennai Super Kings played close against the Kolkata Knight Riders due to the outstanding performance of Shivam Dube. Dhoni's six ended up winning the team.
The Chennai Super Kings won the Kolkata Cavaliers game in the ongoing IPL 2025, which eliminated the defending champion in the playoff game. To secure the top four, the side led by Ajinkya Rahane needs to win all the remaining matches. The Kolkata Cavaliers seem to be on track to win the final two matches against Delhi and Rajasthan. But when Dewald Brevis showed off the performance of the masterclass and changed the course of the game, their game against CSK changed.

KKR's start was trembling and lost Rahmanullah Gurbaz's wicket early on, Sunil Narine scored 26 times and Captain Rahane contributed 48 runs for 33 goals. Andre Russell scored a big inning of 38 in 21 balls, while Manish Pandey added 36 runs. Despite their efforts, Rinku Singh and Ramandeep failed to make an impact, resulting in KKR releasing a total of 179 runs in the first inning.
CSK chased 180 runs and faced a tough task, especially after losing restaurants Ayush Mharte and Devon Conway. But the Quickfire 31 of the debutant Urvil Patel ran 11 goals, keeping the team in the race. Dewald Brevis then took charge in the middle, beating 52 goals and falling from 25 balls, reducing the pressure on the CSK players. The team can feel the victory when MS Dhoni finishes the game in style.
