Anantapur: Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu plans to inspect the continued expansion of the main canals of Handri Neeva Sujala Sravanthi (HNSS) on May 9.
He is expected to land in Chayapuram village of Vajrakarur Mandal in Anantapur region and held a review meeting with irrigation officials to dig extra water from the shipyard at the Srisailam dam to meet the needs of the Rayalaseema area.
CM will conduct an aerial survey of works between the Malyala-Jeedipalli reservoirs in multiple locations.
He will attend Grama Sabha in Chayapuram Gram Panchayat and interact with the people.
Later, the Chief Minister will arrive at Puttaparthi Airport and head to Bangalore for the Indian dialogue program on the evening of May 9.
Finance Minister Payyavula Kesav reviewed the arrangements for Chandrababu Naidu's visit with collector Vinod Kumar and other officials.
