Simulation exercises held in 11 districts of Bihar and Jharkhand

Simulation exercises were conducted on Wednesday (7 May 2025) in six districts of Bihar and five districts in Jharkhand, following the Pahalgam terrorist attack on April 22. In Bihar, the exercises were carried out in Patna, Begusarai, Katihar, Purnia, Kishanganj and Araria, while in Jharkhand, they were carried out in Ranchi, East Singhbhum, Bokaro, Bokaro, Godda, Godda and Sahibganj.
After the alarm sounded at 6.58 pm, a total of power outages were observed in several areas, with simulation exercises involving emergencies in hospitals and other government buildings.
In the state capital, Patna, many residents gathered at the Dakbungalow roundabout for a simulation exercise. Several residents holding national flags were heard shouting slogans to support Indian troops. In Ranchi, the simulation exercises were conducted in the Doranda area.

The political leaders of Bukhar and Jharkhand have cut in various parties, praising the Indian armed forces for launching the “Sindoor Operation” in the early hours of Wednesday.
Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar posted a message on social media platform “X” on Wednesday, saying: “In response to the terrorist attacks in Pahalgam, the “Sindoor Operation” of the Indian Army targeted nine terrorist hiding places in Pakistan, terrorist attacks occupied by Pakistan and the entire country is in Kashmiris. Unwavering faith and pride, led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi Ji.”
Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) leader and former deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav also posted a message on “X”, saying: “Those who promote terrorism, if they attack with our unity, integrity and sovereignty, we know how to unite and unite in the terrorism fight against terrorism and fight in the Indian Army. India!”
Vikasheel Insaan Party (VIP) President and former Minister of State Mukesh Sahani said that although India has always conveyed a message of peace to the world, it has never tolerated terrorism.
“My political party supports the bold actions of the Indian army. After the incident in Pahargam, the whole country is mourning. Our political party is with the central government in the decision of any military operation. We have attacked the terrorist base in Pakistan. This is an action against terrorism,” Mr. Sahani said in a press release.
Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren also went all out and praised the armed forces for their actions.
