Did the Pakistani army shoot down Indian drones? The government issued a statement

Influential people, the media, and government-sponsored social media handles touted the vast amount of misinformation and false propaganda across the border after India launched the widest cross-border strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir and Pakistan.
Influential media, media, and government-sponsored social media handles touted a bunch of misinformation and false propaganda from the border after India launched the widest cross-border strikes in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK) and Pakistan. The latest lie sold by Pakistani handles is the intercepting of Indian driverless cars (UAVs) in the Gujilanwara area of Pakistan, which was subsequently shot down by Pakistani troops.
This is the second day after the Indian army launched multiple cross-border strikes through niche weapons, including drones, missiles and guidance bombs to remove terrorist networks and infrastructure.
The News Information Bureau (PIB), the node agency for government dissemination of information, has confirmed the false and unfounded narrative of the spread of the handle in Pakistan, which is related to the drone intercepted in Gujilanwara. PIB on X notifies the PIB and shares a Weblink to determine the source of the image.
Earlier in the day, PIB debunked another false narrative from the Pakistani media, which claimed that Pakistan had retaliated against the Indian military strike and responded to a military base in Amritsar. A video of hell was also shared to confirm this claim. However, the PIB quickly digs deeper and reveals Pakistan’s naughty agenda. The video was found to be a wildfire.
“The Pakistan-based handle is spreading old videos that falsely accused Amritsar of strikes on military bases. The shared video comes from wildfires in 2024.” It also urged the public to rely solely on official sources from the Indian government for accurate information.
Several images and videos shared by Pakistani sources have been digitized or lifted from digitized events, often for a long time, and have re-launched fabricated narratives about revenge and military capabilities. Even influential politicians shared reputable materials and made unproven claims about the victory’s counterattack.
India’s strike in its neighbours clearly rattles and excites it, but India insists that they are “measure, calibrate and do not count”.
