“Pray for Allah to protect Pakistan”: Former Parker Tahir Iqbal crying in parliament, watching viral video

The current conflict began on April 22, when Pakistan-backed terrorists carried out brutal attacks in Pahalgam Jamuk and Kashmirkill several innocent tourists. In response, India launched Operation Sindor on May 7, targeting terrorist camps within Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK).
What is a sindoor action?
As part of the Sindoor operation, India destroyed several Lashkar-e-Taiba (Let) and Jaish-e-Mohammed (JEM) training centers. These strikes were highly coordinated, hitting nine terror camps, four in Pakistan (Bahwarpur, Muridek, Sahar and Memona Joyya) and five in the pok (including Bhimber, Kotli and Muzaffarabad).
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said at a party-wide meeting on Thursday that more than 100 terrorists had been killed in these precise strikes. Since the operation is still in progress, the exact number is still unclear.
After the Indian strike, Pakistan launched an attack on the evening of May 7-8, trying to hit multiple targets in northern and western India, including Amritsar, Jamu, Pathankot and Bhuj. These attacks involve the use of drones and missiles.
India’s integrated air defense system, including the S-400 “Sudarshan Chakra”, successfully neutralized the incoming threat.
On the morning of May 8, India responded again. This time, the Indian armed forces targeted Pakistan’s air defense radar and systems, including one that was neutralized in Lahore.
Pakistan has since strengthened its shelling along the Line of Control (LOC). The areas of Jamu and Kashmir (such as Kupwara, Balamura and Rajuri) were heavily criticized.
India clearly stated that its actions were self-defense and were intended only to stop terrorism. It has confirmed that it will do its best to protect the sovereignty of the country and its citizens’ security.
The Indian Armed Forces stressed that they would not seek escalation, but would react firmly if they were irritated again.
