A New York City woman was frightened after she found rodents mixed with salad leaves after buying takeout.
Hannah Rasbach, 27, ordered a salad from a restaurant in Midtown Manhattan but was disgusted by the unwanted addition.
She told ABC 7 mischief.
“I looked better, saw the tail and eyes.”
When Rasbach discovered rodents, she immediately brought the food container back to the restaurant halfway through the meal.
On Monday afternoon, the camera showed her talking to an employee inside the Ongi on West 37th Street and handing over the food.
‘[The employee] When asked if I think it comes from the mixture of spring… Obviously, I’m not sure where it comes from,” Rasbach continued.
She rushed to the doctor and used antibiotics as a precaution, worried that rodents might urinate or defecate on food.
“We don’t know how this animal died, it could be rat poison, it could be disease, anything,” she said.

Shop owner Ray Park handed the video to the exit, insisting that the rodents were not from his restaurant Ongi. “I was wondering, how could it happen here, because we have very high standards every day,” Parker said.

Rasbach told the media that she could not imagine dining out again.

Parker told ABC 7: “I was wondering, how could this happen here because we have a very high standard every day.”
He added that he did not know where the rodents were, nor did he want to guess, as he revealed that the agency combed countless times in the camera.
“If I use my fingers, it is a big one including the tail. It’s not small,” Parker continued.
The kitchen was clean and there was never any evidence of feces, he said. He told the media that he used Rasbach’s meals as evidence.
Rasbach filed a complaint to No. 311, and the health department said it was investigating.
“I hope they are closed or investigated,” she said.
