Jamu and Kashmir Chief Minister Omar Abdullah begged the death of other deputy director Raj Kumar Thapa in a “X” post on Saturday (May 10, 2025).
Mr. Abdullah said his residence was attacked by Pakistani shelling.

“Just yesterday, he accompanied the deputy CM around the area and attended an online meeting I hosted,” CM said.
“Devastating news about Rajouri. We lost a dedicated official from J&K Administrative Services… Today, the official’s residence was hit by Pak Splansing because they targeted Rajouri Town and killed our additional Regional Development Commissioner Sh Raj Kumar Thappa. I did not say my shock and sorrow to express my shock and sorrow.
