In the early morning of May 7, 2025, the Indian armed forces conducted 24 precise strikes on nine different targets in action in Pakistan’s swift and decisive military operations against terrorist infrastructure and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). Defence Minister Rajnath Singh described the military action, saying India exercised its “right to respond” to the soil attack, referring to the Pahargam attack.
Since then, tensions in Pakistan opting to target Indian Defense Ministry have intensified to “rapid neutralize” with “military stations at Jamu, Pathankot & Udhampur.” The ministry said India launched a counterattack “in the same field, the same intensity as Pakistan.” Meanwhile, Pakistan carried out heavy shelling along the LOC, resulting in death and injury.
