3 Burn to death on ORR

Hyderabad: A tragic accident on the Outer Ring Road (ORR) claimed the lives of three young people early Saturday morning. The victims, identified as Deepesh Agrawal, 23, Sanchay Malpani, 22, and Priyanshu Mittal, 23, were burned to death after the car caught fire after the collision. The incident occurred around 2 a.m., about 100 meters ago the Gandi Cheruvu Bridge. Deepesh and his friends were on Joyride, driving from Shamshabad to Ghatkesar in a newly purchased car.

The driver of the SUV, Ramana, entered the Kothapet fruit market with a large number of mangoes. He noticed another SUV that collapsed and was trapped on the curb-side divider. To help, Ramana parked the vehicle on the other side of the road near the delaminated. However, there is no safety reflector or warning indicator that can issue hazards.

At that time, Deepesh was driving at an estimated speed of 140 km/h and found that the parked SUV was too late. To avoid a collision, he tried desperately to turn the car, but lost control and hit the SUV. The impact was catastrophic, causing the car to ignite almost immediately. The driver of the parked SUV tried to separate the two cars to prevent the fire from spreading, but the flames quickly intensified.

Deepesh Agrawal and Sanchay Malpani were trapped inside the car and were alive before the help arrived. Priyanshu Mittal was evacuated from the wreckage and rushed to LB Nagar Hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

Abdullapurmet police have registered a case against Ramana, accusing him of death due to negligence. Inspector V. Ashok Reddy confirmed that an investigation was underway and the fire department and motor vehicle inspectors were consulting to determine the exact cause of the fire and whether any safety protocols were violated.
