India’s first rapid track research center launched at UOH

Hyderabad: A rapid research supply agency allegedly the first of its kind in India was launched at the launch of Aspire-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bion-Bions launch. The center was established in partnership with Thermo Fisher Scientific, a global science company, to reduce latency to obtain laboratory materials and speed up scientific research.

Located within the university’s biomass hub, the facility gives researchers immediate access to laboratory reagents, consumables and other critical supplies, sometimes on the same day or the next business day. This is expected to benefit significantly from startups, teachers and scientists from nearby institutions such as TIFR, NIAB and IIL.

The Supply Centre is part of the Thermo Fisher initiative, working with Centres of Excellence (COE) across India. Aspire-bionest is one of four such centers selected. This Hyderabad-based incubator is known for supporting early stage biotech businesses and provides laboratory infrastructure, guidance and a growing network of innovations.

The supply center will help maintain experimental continuity and reduce damage caused by procurement delays, officials said. It is also seen as a step towards strengthening cooperation between industry and academia, with the potential to increase Hyderabad’s visibility as a research centre.

The new facility is opened by Professor Rajagopal, Director of Aspire-Bionest; Jacqueline NG, Director of Asia Pacific and Japan, at Thermo Fisher Scientific; Jayabharat Reddy, Commercial Director of LPD and BID, South Asia; Dr. Anil Kondreddy, CEO of Aspire-Bionest, joins other senior representatives in the research community.
