Working mom Karoline Leavitt sets heart-warming tasks for White House staff…and overflows with Trump family sisters in her closest interview yet

Karoline Leavitt, 27, is a first-time mom and press secretary for President Trump, both jobs seem easy.

She was typing in the office with one hand and feeding the baby Nicholas – nicknamed “Niko”.

Niko even made his first Air Force trip, when the nine-month-old found crawling on the presidential plane, while his mom was in trouble in the press with President Donald Trump.

And, when Niko can’t get along with her, Leavitt Facetimes and her 59-year-old husband (also known as Nicholas Riccio) stay in touch with the men of her life.

“There will definitely be a lot of face-to-face time on the road,” Leavitt told the Daily Mail on Friday before Mother’s Day.

“Although my son is too young to understand the technical advantages of FaceTime, he just likes to grab the phone and eat it. I still like it.

Leavitt’s first Mother’s Day will be commemorated Sunday. She joked that she would spend it with her husband and son.

Shortly after she finished her day’s press conference, we spoke in her West Wing office and reminded those viewers: “Don’t forget to call your mom this Sunday.”

Leavitt is the youngest press secretary ever to work as a job as a press secretary, and he is earning honors as she is able to balance her high visibility 24/7 needs with her baby’s 24/7 needs.

Leavitt hasn’t paused her upward trajectory since she went to Capitol Hill from the first intern of the Trump administration and worked with her own closed (but ultimately failed) congressional campaign.

During the 2024 presidential campaign, she rejoined Trump’s team, helping him win his hometown in New Hampshire before serving as national press secretary.

Levitt traveled around the country during his pregnancy and returned to work four days after giving birth to his son.

She and Nicholas Riccio got married a few days before Trump’s opening and built a new home in Washington, D.C.

But her roots and family have never been her thoughts.

Because the other thing she has to do on Mother’s Day is to call her own mom “Tell her I love her. Actually, I’ve been telling all employees today that as a mom, there’s nothing better than making your kid’s love.

“So I told all my staff that their weekend task was to call mom and tell them how much they loved them.”
