Virat Kohli’s old interview is all the rage among retirement buzz

As the trip to England approaches, there are multiple reports that Kohli shares his intention to retire from Test cricket with BCCI (Cricket Control Board of India).
It is widely speculated that Indian star batsman Virat Kohli may soon announce his retirement from Test cricket. However, a re-layed interview was conducted on social media recently, in which Coley openly discussed the huge challenge of playing games in the longest form of the game.
The video posted by Star Sports Cricket on its official account acknowledges the harsh nature of cricket as Kohli. In the video, Kohli can be heard saying, “You need to be honest with yourself. I mean, you know, testing cricket is tough. I mean, even if you are one of the top teams in the world, or maybe the best testing team in the world in the last few years.
“So you need to be honest with yourself. Are you ready to work hard? Are you ready to wake up on the third day when you know you’re in trouble as a batting unit? He said.

In the interview, Kohli said he would do it without regrets if he was going to announce his retirement from the sport the next day. He stressed that his contribution to India has been selflessly focused on the team’s success.
In addition, Kohli discusses his belief in passing the torch to the younger generation of Indian cricketers and delegates them to the future of Indian cricket.
“The reason I approached these guys is because I don’t want them to waste my months and years, and when I find out the formula for success and what it means to compete at this level, I’m still trying to figure things out. I hope these guys can pick it up early so the transition with Indian cricket can go smoothly.”
It is worth mentioning that reports suggest Kohli has put his intention to withdraw from Test cricket. However, BCCI has asked him to reconsider his decision. These speculations about Kohli’s retirement surfaced after Rohit Sharma recently announced her retirement from the game’s longest game format.
