An elderly couple from Gujarat, who had been exposed more than 60 years ago, finally got married at a dreamy wedding. The pictures and videos of the wedding were all the rage on social media and melted countless hearts.

Harshad and Mrunu’s family, including their children and grandchildren, planned a grand wedding for the couple, who were forced to elope because of their different religious backgrounds.

About 64 years ago, in 1961, when Mrunu’s family refused to accept a love relationship with her life, she took a brave step and left a note with her friends. “I won’t be back.” The journey they started together!

Keshi and Mrunu are childhood lovers from different religions. Their families opposed their marriages because love marriages were not widely accepted in the 1960s. They ran away, got married and built a life together.
