Indian Gifts Offer 15 Electric Vehicles to Nepal for Mountain Dialogue

Indian Ambassador to Nepal to Nepal Naveen Srivastava handed over 15 electric vehicles to Nepal’s Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba on May 11, 2025.
India presented 15 electric vehicles to Nepal on Sunday (May 11, 2025) to promote the organization of the “Sagamatha Sambad”.
The Nepali government will host Sagarmatha Sambad in Kathmandu from 16 to 18 May with the theme of “Climate Change, Mountains and the Future of Humanity”.
According to a press release issued by the ministry, Nepal Naveen Srivastava, India, presented 15 electric vehicles to Nepal Foreign Minister Arzu Rana Deuba on a function held by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
These vehicles will be used to promote the movement of guests and officials participating in the event, which aims to highlight the impact of climate change on the mountainous areas.
According to a press release issued by the Indian Embassy, Ambassador Srivastava extended his best wishes to Nepal and reiterated India’s commitment to support Nepal’s progress and development.
Foreign Minister Deuba thanked India for his contribution to the incident.
The international summit is expected to attract about 300 participants, including climate experts, environmentalists, government officials, diplomats, media personnel, and stakeholders from Nepal and abroad.
