Visitors discover tigers in Amrabad reserve, the fifth attraction this year

Hyderabad: A group of tourists saw a tiger in their safari on Sunday and a tiger in the Nallamala forest in Amrabad Tiger Reserve on Sunday. This is the fifth time a tiger has been seen in the reserve this year. The last tiger witness in the reserve was about two and a half months ago.

A group of tourists in a safari vehicle saw tigers around 7.30 a.m. among a group of tourists, among whom the safari vehicle, missed the witness.

“Every weekend, 24 to 34 people can use the package. We usually have full on weekends,” a forest official said.

Forest officials say that while tiger witnesses are exciting, ecotourism is more than just seeing tigers. “The main idea of ecotourism is to help people enjoy and understand the forest. Tigers, leopards, lazy bears, birds, squirrels and many other animals can be seen. But we can’t just focus on tigers.”

He added that if people only saw tigers and didn’t spot one, they might be disappointed. “They will also miss learning why forest conservation is important. We hope they see a complete picture of small insects to powerful tigers and learn about the entire ecosystem,” the official said.
