It is absolutely possible to fight at sea to stop Pakistan

After the Pahargam attack, the Indian Navy was ready for full combat under Operation Sindor, forcing Pakistan’s navy to take a defensive posture near its port.
India launched a strategic military operation – Sindoor, in response to Pakistan-funded terrorism following a deadly terrorist attack in Pahargam on April 22. As part of this operation, the Indian Navy played a crucial role in ensuring the country’s maritime security and sending a strong deterrent message to the enemy.
Deputy Admiral, Director-General of Naval Operations, noted on Sunday that the Navy deployed full combat in the Arabian Sea shortly after the attack. He revealed that the entire naval force, including the carrier combat group, submarines, aviation units and ground ships, was mobilized within 96 hours of the Pahargam terrorist attack.
“Our forces are still deployed in the Arabian Sea in a decisive posture and are fully prepared and capable of strikes in the ocean and land, including Karachi, when we choose,” the Deputy Admiral said in a joint military briefing.

During this period, the Navy conducted a variety of weapon shooting and tactical exercises to fine-tune its strategies. Due to this powerful naval positioning, the Pakistani Navy was forced to fall into a defensive state, mostly staying within the port or near the coastline, as India constantly monitors their movements.
Deputy Admiral Pramod added that the Indian Navy’s actions were measured, proportionate and responsible, and had never intended to escalate the conflict. Instead, they aim to prevent further unfortunate events on the other side.
He confirmed: “Even now, the Indian Navy is still deploying at sea and ready to respond decisively to any hostilities.”
India launched Operation Sindoor, a massive military response against Pakistani terrorist bases and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (POK). The deployment of the Indian Navy ensured strong maritime security and proved to be an important part of India’s coordinated military response.
