Schools in Punjab: A mixed photo
In Punjab, all educational institutions were closed earlier than May 9-11 due to security concerns arising from India-Pakistan tensions. However, most states are ready to reopen schools on Monday.
“All educational institutions in Punjab – schools, colleges and universities will be reopened from tomorrow. Regular courses and exams will be conducted on academic schedules. We are very proud of our brave armed forces,” said Punjab Education Minister Harjot Singh Bains in an article on Sunday X.
That is, some regions choose to expand to close. Schools in the Ferozepur, Sangrur and Barnala areas will be closed on May 12. Teachers in these fields are instructed to hold online classes at home. Baping area officials have asked the school principal to postpone any exams planned for Monday.
Rajasthan Border Schools Stay Closed
In Rajasthan, authorities have expanded school closures in several border areas.
