Kakinada: Social Welfare Minister Dola Sri Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy said the Ambedkar Videshi Vidya program will be restarted soon. This will enable students in overwhelmingly-sector departments in the AP to provide higher education abroad.

The minister spoke on Sunday after the Ambedkar statue was unveiled at Palivela Village in Kothapeta Mandal. He opened the Secretariat Building and CC Road in the village of Pedapadu in Kothapeta Mandal.

Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy said the TD government implemented a foreign education program from 2014 to 2019. After that, the YSRC government withdrew from the program. This has resulted in many students who belong to overwhelmed classes losing the opportunity to study abroad.

For the benefit of these students, the current NDA Alliance government led by Telugu Desam decided to restart the program. He noted that the state government has recommended its baby kit program.

The minister announced that the government will install Ambedkar statues in all social welfare hotels. The Secretariat will rationalize that better services are provided to the poor. He asserted that the coalition government was committed to the welfare of SC and STS.

Bala Veeranjaneya Swamy said that despite Ambedkar’s many insults and struggles in his life, he overcomes all the obstacles and becomes the Messiah of the overwhelming sector of the country. He advised young people to take advantage of various programs introduced by the central and state governments and become self-reliant entrepreneurs.

Those present included Kothapeta Mla Bandaru Satyanada Rao, Amalapuram Mla Ayithabathula Ananda Rao and P. Gannavaram Mla Giddi Satyanarayana.
