Civil Supply Minister Nadendla Manohar announced that the Andhra Pradesh government directly attributed Rs 1.2 crore to farmers’ accounts in Khalif and Rabbi seasons, marking a historic move to support agricultural livelihoods.

exist Praja Samasya Parishkara Vedika (People’s Complaint Platform) was held on Monday at Kollipara Mandal in the region, where the minister highlighted the government’s strong commitment to rural development. “It’s my village and it’s my responsibility,” he said, promising to personally supervise the solutions to public problems.

During the program, Mr Manohar received 213 citizen petitions, ranging from requests for rice cards to land investigations. He directed officials to resolve all issues within a week. The minister responded sympathetically to a pair of mika requests, approved an Aay card on the spot and handed over 35 kilograms of rice.

Manohar reiterated his ties to the region, recalling his former efforts as President of Parliament (2004-2014) to effectively address local issues. He also announced infrastructure plans that include expansion of rural roads, central lighting in Colipala and the allocation of certificates for home ownership next month.
