Chennai: Actor politician Kamal Haasan on Monday praised the central government’s firm response to the terrorist attacks in Jamu Kashmir and said the military initiative: Operation Sindor sent a clear message to the world that India would not bend before terror.
He warned that victory must now lead to vigilance that a strong country should become an ideological country.
“This is not a triumphal moment, but a stronger India for reflection – learning, rethinking and rebuilding – providing India with a stronger India,” Hassan said in a letter posted on his social media platform ‘X’.
“I praise the Indian government’s firm response and send a clear message to the world that India will not bend before terror,” he said.
He appreciates the “brave” armed forces, as their eyes rest on the tricolor, full of responsibility and unwavering hearts when facing danger. He said: “You are the pride of India, every brave, every brave, guarding our borders and peace.”
Indians, especially Jamu and Kashmir, Punjab, Haryana, Rajasthan and Gujarat, showed extraordinary resilience, showing high performance during the crisis. Hassan added that people across the country remain a force during this difficult time.
