Sara Ali Khan admits jealousy of Alia Bhatt’s national award to win: “I made her inhumane…”

Sara admitted frankly that she believed Alia had both professional success in awards and personal achievements in maternity.

In the cruel world of entertainment, a given actor feels insecure and jealousy when drawing inspiration with his contemporaries. But what sets them apart is her refreshing candidness as they boldly acknowledge their vulnerability, breaking the perfect look associated with celebrities.

Recently, Sara demonstrated a level of self-awareness and maturity by discussing her insecurity publicly, which is rare in the industry. Her willingness to be vulnerable is commendable. She recently admitted to being envious of Alia Bhatt’s achievements, especially when she won the National Best Actress Award for her role at Gangubai Kathiawadi on October 17, 2023.

Sara admitted frankly that she believed Alia had both professional success in awards and personal achievements in maternity. In a conversation on NDTV Yuva, she shared her honesty, saying, “When Alia won the National Award, I thought, ‘Wow, she won this award, she also has a child, and her life is sorted out.’”

However, Sara admits that she accidentally “dehumanizes” Alia, overlooking the struggles and challenges she faces to achieve her goals. She stresses the importance of understanding the complexity behind someone’s success, emphasizing that jealousy is often caused by lack of information. Sara points out that this limited view can cause jealousy because people only see results, not journeys. By sharing her insights, she encourages a more nuanced understanding of success and acknowledges that each achievement stems from its unique struggles and challenges.

Sara Ali Khan’s latest on-screen appearance was in the movie Sky Force, along with Akshay Kumar and Veer Pahariya. Her upcoming project is Dino’s Anurag Basu’s Metro, a star-aired ensemble film that includes Aditya Roy Kapur, Ali Fazal, Neena Gupta, Fatima Sana Shaikh, Konkona Sensharma and Pankaj Jundathi.
