Young citizens who invite civil defense volunteers

Hyderabad:Days after the Civil Defense Operations were conducted in the context of Operation Sindor, the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports called on young citizens to join my Bharat Civil Defense Volunteers to support the country during emergencies and disasters.
The phone led by my Bharat is designed to create a group of well-trained youth who can help civil administration during crises such as natural disasters, public emergencies and accidents.
“Young people interested in serving the country can register themselves. Apart from age, there is no eligibility criteria, they must be between 15 and 29 years old. Regardless of their educational background, we recruit young people,” said Ganta Rajesh, assistant director of Teleangana State, my Bharat assistant director.
“This is the first initiative. We have received directions from the Department of Youth Affairs and Sports to volunteer to volunteer. A webinar was held on Sunday, and the Department provided instructions to all states.”
Now, my Bharat portal opens the registration process. Encourage existing my Bharat volunteers and new applicants to register. The focus is on building a community-based emergency team that is responsive and ready.
“These civil defense volunteers will help in emergencies to ensure health and safety, property safety, evacuation, first aid and management of traffic or populations,” said Y. Nagi Reddy, director of fire services. He added that registered volunteers will undergo a five-day batch training.
“They will be trained in basic safety, fire protection and emergency skills. In the past, about 2,000 volunteers were trained in disaster response, but they remained ineffective due to the lack of immediate needs. Through this initiative, the same volunteers will be brought back together with new young volunteers as civil defense volunteers,” he said.
The initiative is still in its early stages, with training dates and deadlines set to be announced soon, according to officials. “We are in the first phase, which is registration. Details on the training and deadlines have not been provided yet,” she said, adding that the training will be coordinated with the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF), the National Disaster Response Force (SDRF) and local regional administrations.
Volunteers participating in this program will learn useful skills and help the country.
First-year graduate student V. Sindhu Reddy reacted to the program and shared her thoughts on the My Bharat program. “Yes, I will be interested in participating in the program. As an NCC cadet, I have been trained to help in emergencies and disasters, and I believe this kind of work can really change,” she said.
She added: “Today’s young people are good for crisis management and first aid, so I’m confident that we can handle any such situation effectively. Volunteering through National Service will help build skills, personality and a strong sense of social responsibility. What motivates me most is the opportunity for those in need, and I will encourage my friends to join this program. When more people join society, I can really build social change.”
ch. Akshitha, a 25-year-old business analyst, shared her thoughts: “If my parents heartily agree, I will be the happiest person to serve the country and advise my friends’ circles to accept it too. Knowing our roots and fighting for it, it will provide a meme for half of a young person for a part of the meme,” she said.
“We are only aware of the history of textbooks, which means we may not be more than half of the national history, and I want to know what international affairs are for us. Also, people are talking about young people in situations like natural disasters, full of natural disasters, full of fulfillment, the only thing we see, but everything we will do to the behavior of our generation, which will also shape our politics. She said: “Skills and confidence.” ”
