Solve the land problem at the end of May: Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy

Hyderabad: Tax Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy directed collectors in four districts to quickly resolve land-related complaints filed during the revenue meeting held as part of the implementation of the Bhu Bharati pilot project. He spoke on Monday at a video conference with collectors in Mulugu, Kamareddy, Khammam and Narayanpet regions where the Bhu Bharati Pilot Project conducted four mando columns there.
Srinivas Reddy directed officials to carefully review applications received by four Mandals at Maddur, Lingampet, Venkatapoor and Nelakondapally and resolved before May-End.
He said farmers will no longer have to run in court because their land-related issues will be resolved in the tax office itself. Officials will visit the people and resolve their land problems without any cost.
The Minister directs that any application that requires rejection should be carefully examined and decided. He also suggested that applications should be processed online. From today onwards, Tahildars will be able to use the online registration facility.
Srinivas Reddy also directed Naveen Mittal, the chief secretary of revenue attending the meeting, to arrange skilled personnel from other fields to assist in the application for review. Regarding Indiramma housing, the minister said that the eligible list should be sent to the respective district responsible ministers for approval. He asked officials to start building the house as soon as possible.
