Sindoor Operation 100% Successful, the Defense Force fulfilled its PM’s Commitment: BJP

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) said on Monday (May 12, 2025) that the armed forces have shown courage in fulfilling the promises of Narendra Modi, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, by razing their bases to the ground, even in the depths of Pakistan. It said that all actions achieved all actions.

To commemorate the successful operation of the Defense Forces, the BJP will organize the 11-day “Tiranga Yatra” nationwide starting on Tuesday (May 13). Famous figures from all parts of society are expected to participate in outreach activities.

Earlier, at a press conference, BJP MP and spokesman Sambit Patra said that the Prime Minister had heard the call from his fellow countrymen and promised from the land of Bihar that 26 people would be killed, which would be beyond the imagination of terrorists and their remains would be flattened. The Wehrmacht did exactly the same.

Mr Patra said the Prime Minister was visiting Saudi Arabia when the Pahargam terrorist attack occurred.

“Non-military measures debilitate Pakistan”

Prior to the action of Sindor, the Prime Minister and the Alliance Government took “non-military” measures to deflate Pakistan. The move includes a moratorium on the 1960 Indus Water Treaty, which could not be carried out in any war in the past 50 years.

“Almost 90% of Pakistan depends on this water. About 80% of their agriculture depends on this water. One-fourth of Pakistan’s GDP falls if this water is stopped. Jhelum and Chenab rivers are now completely under the jurisdiction of the Indian government and, the way we are talking about construction dams, new reservoirs, irrigation, and hydropower, will benefit Jammu & Kashmir, Ladakh, Punjab and Haryana. “Mr Patra said, adding that Pakistani citizens were fired. Imports from Pakistan have stopped; even the Attari-Wagah border has been closed.

A BJP spokesman listed the targets of Operation Sindor, of which nine terrorists were destroyed, more than 100 terrorists were eliminated, and 11 air bases hit the target. The first goal was to reach the terrorist hiding places, and even the terrorist hiding places in remote areas of Pakistan. The second goal is to kill terrorists. The third is to destroy these targets. The fourth is to avoid any civilian casualties. The last goal is not to attack any Pakistani military devices, as the fight is counter-terrorism.

“Control and non-estimated operations”

Patra asserted that “The Sindoor operation is 100% successful, and it is controlled, measured, accurate and non-estimated.” India has been reluctant to escalate further from the beginning because the goals of the Sindoor operation have been achieved. He said the operation is still underway and as the Prime Minister made it clear, the Defense Force will respond to every bullet in Pakistan with shells.

He said that in the understanding of the suspension of military operations between the two sides, the Director-General of the Indian side of the Military Operation received a call from his Pakistani counterpart to demand a ceasefire.

A BJP spokesman responded on social media to questions about Foreign Secretary Vikram Misri trolling on social media after announcing the suspension of military operations, saying: “We respect all those involved in SINDOOR operations, whether it is the military, our political components or our bureaucracy, and we cannot provide them with any social media.
