On Monday, authorities at the Alangudi Government Hospital in Pudukkottai District celebrated International Nurse Day to recognize nurses’ outstanding maternal and child health care over the past 10 years.
Chief civil surgeon M. Periyasamy presented nurses with the 2025 Florence Nightingale Appreciation Award, according to an official press release.
