Miliband v. Miliband: Energy Minister’s High Court judge’s wife turns Nimby to new apartment – Ed vows to “take over blockers, delayers, blockers”

Ed Miliband’s wife has objected to plans to plan a new apartment near her £3 million family home, despite her husband’s promise to “take over the blockers and blockers”.

High Court Justine Thornton, who married the Energy Secretary, wrote to the Camden Council, which is linked to the five-story building dedicated to land near her house in north London.

Although Mr Miliband had previously vowed to make the “delayer” part of his green energy and home construction agenda.

His party deputy Angela Rayner is also leading the government’s efforts to overhaul the program rules, building 300,000 new homes each year.

Labor said it plans to designate some previously untouched green land as a “gray belt” so that they can build more homes nationwide.

But Ms. Thornton said that in opposition to her, the proposed design was “too high and too large, given the background of surrounding houses and the wider reserve.”

She claimed she was “not opposed to the development principle, especially in the need of more housing.”

But other notable figures in affluent areas, including actor Benedict Cumberbatch, say they are worried that new developments could open doors to the influx of construction projects.

Ed Miliband’s wife Justine Thornton violated her husband’s promise to “take over obstacles and obstacleists” last year, but plans for a new apartment near her £3 million family home were in violation of the plan.

HGG, the real estate company behind the plan, said the neighborhood will “provide new housing on brownfield sites in line with national and local planning policy objectives,” in line with the priorities of updated planning guidelines introduced by Labor last year.

Labour said in its program policy framework that the Brownfield plan should be approved unless it causes significant harm”.
