French President Emmanuel Macron praised Depardieu as a great actor in 2023 and described him as the target of the “Surveyer”.

Ms. Bardot’s views seem to be consistent with other older members of the French film industry, who rejected the intolerance they believed to be American-inspired Puritans.

Actress Catherine Deneuve, 81, signed an article with 100 other women in 2018, which defended men’s “disturbance” women, which is crucial to temptation.

Ms. Bardot previously claimed that the actress had filed allegations of hypocrisy, absurdity and lack of interest in men.

After 140 testimony, an investigation by the French parliament ended the “systematic, popular and lasting” sexual violence in the French art world.

“The system is a meat mill that consumes people,” said Erwan Balanant, a middle-aged MP who is in charge of the investigation.

Depardieu’s trial revolves around sexual assault charges during the 2021 LES Volets Verts (Green Louvers) directed by Jean Becker.

Two women – a 54-year-old suit dresser and a 34-year-old assistant director – claimed Depardieu suffered sexual violence at the scene.

The famous French actress Anouk Grinberg also starred in the film, who publicly supported the plaintiff, claiming that during the filming, depardieu usually made “despicable remarks.” She accused the producer of intentionally “hiring abusers.”

The scene dresser said the actor made rough comments publicly on the spot, complaining loudly that he “can’t even lift up” because of the heat.

She claimed he bragged about how he could “give women orgasm without touching them” and an hour later, depardieu “grabbed her cruelly”.

She added that the actor “closed his legs” before groping her waist and belly, continuing to fix it towards her, continuing toward her breasts.

She said Depardieu made “obscene remarks” that included: “Come and touch my big parasol. I’ll stick it in your p****.

She described the actor’s bodyguard dragging him away as he shouted: “Dear, we’ll meet again.”

The second plaintiff is an assistant director and also accused Depardieu of sexual violence, although details of her allegations have not been made public.

In August 2024, French prosecutors called on film star DePardieu to rape a young actress who had been in his Paris home for two days for trial.

The investigation has been going on for a full six years, including CCTV footage from Depardieu, which had sexually acted on Arnion MS in August 2018.

Carine Durrieu-Diebolt, Ms. Arnould’s lawyer, said the trial request was “the result of a long-term investigation, which allowed elements to be collected that proved my client’s words.”

Ms Durrieu-Diebolt added: “It was a huge step for her, full of hope and she awaited the order of the investigative judge to end the investigation.”

Ms. Arnoud’s complaint was initially dismissed, but then reopened after further evidence emerged.

DePardieu’s lawyers did not immediately respond to the call for trial, but Green Card and the last Metro Star have been claiming that the sexual act with Arnn was agreed.

In 2023, DePardieu said to himself as a serial sexual abuser: “I am neither a rapist nor a predator.”
